In an interview on Channel One TV monitored by MyNewsGh, Gomoa Central MP Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, shared candid insights into his political journey and the dynamics that led to his fallout with the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

A Plus, known for his outspoken nature, explained that his initial connection with the NPP was rooted in his admiration for former president Nana Akufo-Addo. "I grew up liking Nana," A Plus confessed. "He understood my music and appreciated what I did, which drew me closer to him. "I wanted to see him succeed when he ran for president," he said.

However, things took a turn, and when asked about the fallout, A Plus was quick to clarify, "I haven't fallen out with the NPP.

If I'm angry, it's normal, but there's no reason to make it a bigger issue." Refuting rumours about personal gain, A Plus emphasised his integrity: "If I wanted something, it wasn't because I didn't get it.
