In a move to promote ethical governance, transparency, and accountability within the public sector, President is to launch a comprehensive Code of Conduct for appointees on May 5.

This Code of Conduct is a cornerstone of President Mahama's "Resetting the Nation" agenda, reflecting his administration's dedication to instilling integrity and discipline in public service.

The code is to provide clear guidelines on ethical behavior, expectations for appointees, conflict of interest, financial disclosures, and performance standards for government officials, emphasising integrity, professionalism, and responsible stewardship of public resources.

emphasised that the code would serve as a binding commitment to ethical governance, ensuring that public officials act in the best interest of the Ghanaian people.
