In a fiery response to criticisms surrounding President John Dramani Mahama's recent judicial appointments, the acting CEO of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, has taken direct aim at the New Patriotic Party (NPP), accusing the party of double standards and political deception.

Appearing on Joy News' Newsfile, Gyamfi lambasted the NPP for what he called a pattern of "duplicity and hypocrisy" in their public commentary. "The problem with the NPP is the duplicity and the hypocrisy they continue to display.

That is what I find nauseating in all these discussions," he said.

His comments come in the wake of sharp NPP disapproval of President Mahama's appointment of Justice Senyo Dzamefe, a well-respected legal figure with a storied career across various levels of Ghana's judiciary.
