Join host Samson Lardy Anyenini on JoyNews' Newsfile for an in-depth analysis of the pressing issues shaping Ghana's governance and political landscape.

The host and his panelists will discuss the call by the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) and other political parties for President John Mahama to revoke the suspension of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo.

Watch livestream here: According to the GBA, President Mahama, who is neither a judge nor a judicial officer, exercised discretion "in the absence of a published Constitutional Instrument, Statutory Instrument or Regulation(s)" as required under Article 296 of the 1992 Constitution.

The GBA argued that the absence of such rules renders the suspension unlawful.
