The Ghana Police Service has issued a strong reminder for individuals to remain cautious about their security following the successful rescue of two kidnapped Ghanaians in Nigeria.
The operation was made possible through a collaborative effort between the Ghana National Signals Bureau and the Nigerian Police Force.
Speaking on Channel One Newsroom on Friday, May 5, ACP Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director of Public Affairs for the Ghana Police Service, stressed the importance of vigilance, noting that the incident highlights the need for citizens to be more aware of their surroundings. "We want to call on everyone to take your security seriously, and whenever you have any issue of concern, anything you are uncomfortable with that you think the police must know, kindly draw our attention.
Report to the nearest police station," ACP Ansah-Akrofi said.
