The Eastern South Regional Police Command has launched an investigation into a fatal shooting that occurred on April 29, 2025, at Asiyaw, near Akwane-Dobro in the Nsawam area.
The incident resulted in the death of five adult males.
According to the police, a confrontation between two groups over sand-winning activities escalated into violence, leading to the shooting.
When the police crime scene team arrived, they found the lifeless bodies of the five victims, each with gunshot wounds.
