Former Secretary to the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM), Charles Bissue, has broken his silence following legal action initiated by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP), demanding the presentation of an unedited video documentary in court as part of the trial process.
The OSP has filed a writ to prosecute him and Andy Thomas Owusu on multiple charges, including corruption and the alleged abuse of public office for personal gain.
The matter stems from the controversial "Galamsey Fraud" exposé produced by Tiger Eye P.I.
in 2019, which accused certain officials of wrongdoing in the fight against illegal mining.
