The Generational Rights Protection Society, an anti-galamsey advocacy group, has announced that its protest against illegal mining, locally known as galamsey, will continue for the next two days.
The group began their demonstration on Monday, April 28, to demand a clear roadmap of the government's plans to address the menace.
The protesters gathered at the Obra Spot in Accra to commence the protest and the same spot will be their meeting point for day two of the protest.
A petition will be presented on the final day.
