A royal appeal has turned the tide at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH), where doctors have resumed emergency services following a compassionate plea from the Overlord of Dagbon, Yaa Naa Abukari Mahama II.

The strike, which had left many patients in distress, saw a breakthrough after a high-powered delegation from the Dagbon Palace, led by Zangbalun Lana Dr.

Jacob Mahama, visited the hospital on behalf of the King.

The delegation carried a heartfelt message urging members of the Doctors' Association of Tamale Teaching Hospital (DATTH) to reconsider their position for the sake of public health. "We implore you to consider the lives that hang in the balance.
