Following the 's (NPP) significant defeat in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections, First National Vice Chairman of the party Dankwah Smith Butey has called for the dismissal of all national executives, including himself.
In an interview on Sompa FM, Chairman Butey described the party's leadership as a failure, pointing to the reduction of parliamentary seats from 137 in 2020 to 88 in 2024 as a "shameful" outcome. "For me, I want all the national executives to be sacked, including myself.
