An ATM card left at a crime scene in East Legon has led to the arrest of two male suspects by the Ghana Police Service in connection with the murder of a Lebanese national.

The two suspects are said to have left behind some items, including a Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) ATM card bearing the name of one of the arrested suspects, while fleeing the scene of the crime, according to a police statement released on July 3, 2025.

Providing details of the operation and the murder, the police indicated that the deceased, a 58-year-old Lebanese national, was murdered in cold blood at his residence in East Legon, Accra, on June 20, 2025.
