The New Patriotic Party (NPP), now serving as the opposition, has announced a ban on TV3 and all other affiliates of the Media General Group from covering its events, citing persistent concerns over media bias.
The decision was disclosed by Alhaji Masawuud, the party's 3rd Vice Chairman, who emphasized that the directive takes immediate effect.
He further warned that any party official or communicator who engages with Media General platforms will face disciplinary action, including suspension.
According to Alhaji Masawuud, the move follows what the NPP describes as continuous unfair and unbalanced reportage from Media General outlets, which include TV3, Onua TV, and other affiliates. "If any NPP communicator goes on Media General platforms, that person will be suspended," he cautioned.
