The Minister of Health, , has appealed to doctors of Tamale Teaching Hospital to call off their ongoing strike.
Addressing a press conference at the Ministry of Health on Thursday, April 24, 2025, the minister assured the striking staff of his readiness to collaborate in addressing their concerns. "For the past two to three days, I've been speaking to stakeholders, and please, it isn't everything we can put out there as leaders. "I am prepared for us to come around the table and discuss whatever we need to discuss. "And so, my humble appeal to my wonderful medical doctors and health professionals at Tamale Teaching Hospital is that I am the first person to take care of your interests.
Therefore, let's call off the strike, and let's all regroup and strategise going forward," he stated.
