A senior lecturer at the Department of Religion and Human Development KNUST, Rev Dr Kwabena Opuni-Frimpong, has urged Christians to engage in politics, dispelling the notion that it is a "dirty game." According to him, politics is about managing interests and relationships, and Christians can make a positive impact by serving in this sphere.
Speaking on GHone TV on April 22, 2025, Dr Opuni-Frimpong emphasised the importance of nurturing the next generation of politicians from the church, citing examples of similar initiatives in other countries such as Angola. "This notion that politics is dirty; politics is not dirty.
