Former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ade Coker, has condemned the Kumasi Mayor over his decision to beat traders who sell on the pavements in Kumasi.
According to him, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not support him in any way.
He is of the view that the mayor should emulate the demeanour of the person who appointed him and not take the laws into his hands.
To Ade Coker, it is about time Ghanaian leaders think out of the box and not engage in ad hoc measures that are not sustainable. "Lashing people won't work.
