The Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams has shared his thoughts on why President Mahama entrusted him with the leadership of the Sports Ministry.

Speaking on the Channel One TV's Face to Face on Tuesday April 15, Adams highlighted the unique qualities required to manage the ministry effectively, describing it as a role that demands both toughness and tact. "Why did he (President Mahama) give me the Sports Minister?

I am sure he was looking for someone with a combination of toughness and softness because you need that kind of tact to handle a Ministry like this," Adams remarked.

He emphasised the need for a balanced approach, stating, "A ministry that must have a military mentality and operate with a military precision.
