Ahmed Ibrahim, the Minister of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, has assured Ghanaians to expect an 'unprecedented' level of development within the next four years.

He said the period under President John Dramani Mahama's leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) would mark a "golden age of development," adding that the government welcomed the contributions and support of all citizens, regardless of their political affiliations.

Ibrahim, who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Banda Constituency in the Bono Region, stated that inclusivity is the true embodiment of democracy and a core principle of the NDC, aimed at facilitating accelerated national development.

He emphasized that disunity, backbiting, and petty squabbles would derail the path of progressive national development and called for national unity to drive the wheels of growth.
