Kwame Asah-Asante has described the actions of some aggrieved National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters over the nomination of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), as a sign of poverty. According to him, the disappointment stems from the lack of nomination of their preferred candidates, capable of providing them with financial assistance when nominated.
Speaking to Citi News, Dr.
Asah-Asante said efforts must be directed at tackling recent economic woes. "Those who are opposing these individuals are looking forward to seeing a situation where their choices will be the occupant of those positions.
