Minister of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Sam Nartey George, has lashed out at the Parliamentary Appointments Committee, accusing it of prioritising the wrong issues during his recent vetting process.
Sam George, who spent over five hours before the committee, was questioned on a variety of topics, many of which he argued had little to do with his qualifications or plans for the new role.
According to George, much of the interrogation, led by Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, focused on his past political remarks instead of assessing his expertise in communications and digital technology.
In an interview on Channel One TV, Sam George expressed his disappointment with the committee's line of questioning. "A man must stand by what he believes in.
