The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMET) has issued a weather alert indicating the likelihood of thunderstorms and rainfall across various parts of the country today, Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
According to GMET, misty conditions are expected early in the morning over forested and mountainous areas, which may reduce visibility and affect early morning travel.
Thunderstorms accompanied by rain are forecast to occur in coastal and some inland areas during the morning and afternoon hours.
Later in the day, parts of the middle and transition zones are also expected to experience thunderstorms, with or without rain, from late afternoon into the evening.
