Several students of the Prampram D/A Basic School were rushed to the Prampram Polyclinic on Monday afternoon after reportedly consuming a locally brewed drink known as 'Asana' sold by a vendor on the school premises.
The incident, which triggered panic among parents and guardians, saw a significant number of pupils experiencing symptoms, including dizziness, vomiting, and stomach pain, shortly after taking the beverage.
According to eyewitness accounts, the students began complaining of discomfort shortly after the morning break, prompting teachers to seek medical attention quickly.
