The Kumasi Mayor, Richard Ofori Agyemang Boadi has warned traders selling on the shoulders of the road of beating them if they refuse to leave after the two-week ultimatum given to them.
He says he is not one who believes in the policing system, so he would rather take the laws into his own hands.
The Kumasi Mayor intends to beat any trader who will defy the orders he has given for them to to vacate the various pavements in the capital.
To him, Kumasi is Otumfuo's city and he will do everything within his means to ensure that its beauty is preserved, and that includes making stubborn traders feel the difficulty they are making him go through.
