The Federation of Muslim Communities in Komen­da-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) Municipality (FEM­CO-KEEA) has expressed pro­found gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for the nomina­tion of Mr Ismail Zagoon-Saeed as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Komenda-Edina- Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) Municipali­ty in the Central Region. "FEMCO-KEEA believes that this nomination reflects the Presi­dent's visionary leadership and his continued commitment to inclusive and quality governance at the local level.

The nomination also indicates a well-deserved recognition of Mr Zagoon's proven leadership, competence, dedication to public service, and deep-rooted passion for community development," a state­ment issued by the FEMCO-KEEA has stated.

A statement signed by the General Secretary of the FEM­CO-KEEA, Imam Ismaeel Isaac Arthur and copied The Ghanaian Times here yesterday, said: "We are confident that in his new role, he will work closely with our hard­working and development-oriented Member of Parliament, Samuel Atta Mills, to advance the President's vision of empowering local citizens and fostering social and economic progress."
