The All Nigerian Community (ANC), the umbrella association representing Nigerians living in Ghana has responded to a viral video by Cyrus Harvey Annan, the journalist with Toontum Network, claiming to identify the reasons behind what he described as a sharp increase in the migration of Nigerians to Ghana.
Annan in the 11-minute video, attributed this trend to Ghana's steady electricity supply, favorable social and economic conditions, and enhanced security, particularly appealing to Nigerian youth seeking better opportunities.
The ANC in a signed statement by its President, Chief Albert Bayo Ashaolu indicated the views of Annan remain his personal opinions, however, he would address "certain inaccuracies and prevent potential misinterpretations".
The association sought to clarify the issues raised in the video, ensuring that the well-being of Nigerians residing in Ghana and the longstanding cordial relations between the two nations remained intact.
