A former Minister of Environment, Science, and Technology, Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng, has called for a mass resignation of the leadership of the opposition (NPP) for their roles in the defeat suffered by the party in the 2024 general elections.
Speaking in an interview on Nhyira FM, the former minister called for an exorcism of the party from what he described as demons occupying leadership positions. "All the executives must resign for leading the party to an unprecedented defeat; if the demons in the NPP are not removed from their leadership positions, the party will continue to suffer," he stated.
He expressed disappointment in the governance of , describing the former president as 'unreceptive and close-minded.' "Akufo-Addo turned a deaf ear to the many pieces of advice I gave him, which could have turned the fortunes around.
