The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has declared Mr.
Ransford Fosuo-Boateng and Mr.
Raphael Appiah persona non grata following their involvement in a violent incident on campus.
A statement from the university's Registrar, dated April 11, 2025, revealed that the two former students, who completed their studies in the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 academic years respectively, "physically assaulted some members of the university community" on March 30, 2025. "Their actions have been found to be in direct breach of the university's statutes and regulations, and also constitute criminality," the statement said.
