The Minority in Parliament has raised serious concerns over the increasing use of sophisticated weapons in the Bawku conflict, following renewed violence in the area.

This comes in the wake of a violent confrontation on Thursday, April 10, between police personnel and some youth in the Bawku enclave, which reportedly resulted in fatalities and injuries.

The private residence of the Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga, was also allegedly set ablaze during the chaos.
