The Chief of Army Staff, Major General Lawrence Gbetanu, of the Ghana Armed Forces, has urged all land forces commanders to undertake regular evaluation of the policy outcomes of the summit to determine the impact of their implementation.
This, he said, will ensure a successful outcome.
He said this during the closing ceremony of the African Land Forces Summit, 2025. "I trust that the takeaways from the summit will be harnessed to inform our individual and collective policy actions as we strive to address common defense and security issues and challenges," he stated.
Major Gbetanu added that the summit is a product of enduring partnerships between the Ghana Armed Forces and the United States Army through its Southern European Task-Force Africa. "The Ghana Arm Forces cherishes that partnership and will continuously strive to deepen it," he stated.
