The Assemblymember for Wuxor, Have, And Sremanu Electoral Area, Japhet Festus Gbede has urged the newly nominated and confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Akatsi South, Daniel Dagba, to set aside any notion of political honeymooning and focus on the urgent challenges facing his Municipality.

The youngest assemblymember's comments came amid the celebrations of the confirmation ceremony, an event marked by high expectations and a palpable sense of responsibility.

During the ceremony, which attracted a diverse gathering of community leaders, residents, and political figures, Gbede emphasised that now is the time for measurable progress. "Our constituents have invested their trust and hope in your leadership," the assemblymember remarked. "The time for political honeymooning must give way to prompt and decisive action.
