Former Minister of Information, has jumped to the defence of Felix Kwakye-Ofosu, Minister for Government Communications amidst the continuing controversy surrounding allegation of unusual planes at Kotoka International Airport connected to drug trafficking and money laundering.
The minister has been criticised for peddling falsehood in putting out what he claims are the facts of the matter.
But Oppong Nkrumah stressed that Kwakye-Ofosu did not falsify the information, but merely relayed a briefing that proved to be inaccurate in what seems to be an act of solidarity. "Look at this Air Med matter, he came out with an explanation that the flight was on its way to I think Luanda and that the people were for crew rest and that they had a problem when they came.
Now it is turning out that the flight never went to Luanda.
