Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Haruna Mohammed, has argued that the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) quest in the suspicious flight saga is to secure a country free from drug trafficking and money laundering.
His statement follows the attempted arrest of Assin South MP and Ranking Member on the Defence and Interior Committee, Rev.
John Ntim Fordjour, by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) on Wednesday, April 9, after he alleged government involvement in a drug trafficking case.
The arrest was, however, foiled by the Minority in Parliament and some leading members of the NPP who trooped in to block the attempted arrest by officials of the NIB.
