Officers from the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) are reportedly at the residence of the Ranking Member of Parliament on Defence and Interior Committee and Member of Parliament for Assin South, Reverend , to effect his arrest.
The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, announced this in a post shared on social media on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. "NIB currently at Ntim Fordjour's house to arrest him," the NPP chief scribe wrote in his post.
A video of Kodua, supposedly at the home of the Assin South legislator, showed officials of the NIB at the entrance of his (Ntim Fordjour) home.
Other videos sighted by GhanaWeb online also show the officials of the NIB in the compound of Ntim Fordjour.
