The Minister of State in Charge of Government Communications, , has stated that the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) is awaiting clearance from the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, to release the Member of Parliament for Assin South, Reverend John Ntim Fordjour, to assist with investigations into allegations of drug trafficking and money laundering.
The minister added that Rev.
Ntim Fordjour has not yet responded to inquiries from security services regarding his allegations that two planes recently landed in Ghana with cash and narcotics.
Speaking on Face to Face on Channel One TV, Kwakye Ofosu emphasized the importance of transparency and recommended that the MP's questioning be made public. "The NIB wrote to the Speaker to release Ntim Fordjour.
