The Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament, James Klutse Avedzi, has directed the Central Gonja District Assembly to pay its workers the daily minimum wage. This directive was issued during the Committee's public sittings in Tamale, which commenced on Monday. Over the next two days, the Committee will review the Auditor-General's reports for the fiscal year ending 31st December 2023.
