Hannah Biamah Baafi Gunn, Planning Manager for the National Road Safety Authority (NRSA), has revealed that 80 out of every 100 accident-related deaths recorded are men, with the remaining 20 being women.

She noted that this is an annual trend, which is concerning and requires urgent attention.

In an interview on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5 FM, she stated that the total number of accidents recorded in 2024 was 13,489.

She explained that the vehicles involved in these accidents totaled 22,975, noting that some of the accidents involved more than five vehicles.
