Samuel Jinapor, Ranking Member on the Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament, has formally appealed to the diplomatic community to assist in addressing the controversy surrounding alleged suspicious flights that arrived from Gran Canaria.

On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, Jinapor, on behalf of the Minority Caucus, wrote to Maher Kheir, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Lebanon to Ghana, requesting intervention via diplomatic channels.

The appeal follows a Minority Caucus Press Conference held on April 1, 2025, highlighting critical security concerns, including allegations that AirMed and Cavok Air flights carried illicit goods and money.

These concerns prompted the President to direct state investigative agencies to probe the matter.
