Minister for Transport, Joseph Bukari Nikpe, has disclosed that the government is actively seeking strategic partnerships to establish a national airline.

According to the Minister, given the current economic challenges facing the country, the government is unable to independently set up a national carrier.

Instead, efforts are being directed at identifying credible partners who can support the vision of establishing a sustainable and competitive airline for Ghana.

Speaking to staff of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, Joseph Bukari Nikpe shared that a shortlist of potential partners will soon be revealed as part of efforts to bring the national airline to life. "We are looking for a partnership to establish a national airline.
