During his first official meeting with the Commission, which serves as the regulatory body for all mining operations in the country, Armah-Kofi Buah took time to engage with the staff, demonstrating warmth and camaraderie.
Addressing the Commission on Monday, April 7th, 2025, the minister highlighted its critical role in the government's efforts to transform the mining sector, particularly in combating illegal mining (galamsey).
