Two District Chief Executives (DCEs) for Dormaa West and Berekum West in the Bono Region, nominated by President John Mahama, were confirmed by their respective assemblies on Friday.
Mr Collins Asumah was confirmed by all the 27 eligible voters, including nine government appointees of the Berekum West Assembly, to endorse him as the District Chief Executive for the area.
Mr Stephen Azorba Aminu was confirmed the DCE for Dormaa West District after he polled 14 out of 15 ballots, representing 83 per cent of votes by assembly members.
A Supervising High Court judge, Justice Gabriel Mate-Teye, swore the two DCEs and the government appointees into office.
