The Vice President of IMANI Africa, Kofi Bentil, has called on the government to provide clarity on allegations made by the Ranking Member of Parliament on the Defence and Interior Committee, Reverend , regarding alleged drug trafficking in the country.
Bentil believes that although the MP is basing his claims on suspicion, it would be in the nation's best interest for both Minority and Majority Members of Parliament to collaborate and investigate the allegations fairly.
He argued that the government should furnish Rev Fordjour and the public with details concerning the movement of the accused aircraft to bring clarity to the matter. "This is a national issue; I'm not saying he acted wrongly.
What I'm advocating for is a nationalistic approach to the situation.
