The Achimota Hospital has seen a notable upgrade to its child and outpatient facilities following renovation works undertaken by Stand in The Gap Kindred International.
The initiative, aimed at improving hygiene and comfort for both patients and healthcare workers, was officially unveiled on Friday, April 4, 2024.
Renovation efforts focused on key areas of the hospital, including the Children's Outpatient Department (OPD), the general OPD, and washrooms.
Roof repairs, fresh coats of paint, the installation of new plumbing fixtures, and the replacement of damaged doors were among the interventions carried out.
