The Anfoega Traditional Council in the Volta Region has strongly denied reports alleging that the Paramount Chief, Togbe Tepre Hodo IV, has banned activities of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the area.
In a statement issued by the Anfoega State Secretariat and signed by the State Secretary, Mr.
Samuel Adibbli, the Council described the reports as a "palpable falsehood" and urged the public to disregard them. "The attention of the Anfoega State Secretariat and the Traditional Council has been drawn to a false publication alleging that Togbe Hodo has banned NDC activities in his traditional area," the statement read.
According to the Council, there is no truth to the claim, and no such directive has been issued by the Paramount Chief.
