A former Director-General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), Richard Anamoo, says it should be possible for the missing containers belonging to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to be traced, emphasising that relevant institutions have records of their whereabouts.

His comments follow growing concerns about the disappearance of ECG's containers, sparking calls for an investigation into the circumstances surrounding their status.

Speaking in an interview on JoyNews' The Pulse on Thursday, April 3, he reassured that the missing containers should not be difficult to track.

According to him, the GPHA maintains records of all container movements, whether they were transferred to another terminal, stored at an external facility, or auctioned due to overstaying at the port.
