The Director-General of the National Service Authority (NSA), Felix Gyamfi, has assured the public that security measures have been implemented to curb illegal payments made to influence service postings.

This move follows an investigative report by The Fourth Estate, which uncovered the alleged existence of ghost names in National Service postings.

According to a report by 3news.com on April 2, 2025, Gyamfi emphasised his commitment to cracking down on "special postings," a term used to describe postings influenced by illegal payments. "National Service re-posting is just fraud.

There will be no additional postings to companies after they have officially communicated the number of service personnel they require.
