The prosecution has revised the charges against Daniel Owusu Koranteng, the suspect in journalist Ahmed Suale's murder, adding abetment to commit a crime-specifically, murder.

This was disclosed in court on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, when the case was called.

Daniel Owusu Koranteng, who has been on remand since his arrest, has been accused of publicly sharing images of Ahmed Suale before his death and being present near the crime scene at the time of the journalist's murder in January 2019.

Initially charged with murder when he was arraigned on March 19, the prosecution on Wednesday added the charge of abetment to commit murder.
