Max TV has publicly apologized to Cina Soul following derogatory comments made by Kumawood actor Big Akwes over her outfit in one of her music promo videos.
In a video posted on X, Max Morning Show presenter Akosua Takyiwaa expressed regret on behalf of the network, saying, "Big Akwes' utterances didn't sit well with some Ghanaians… we admit his comments didn't sit well, and we apologize." She further clarified that the comments had become personal and did not align with the show's usual tone, which avoids attacking personalities.

They criticized Big Akwes for his personal attack on the singer and stood by her right to express herself.
