Charles Owusu, a former official of the Forestry Commission, has expressed his belief that President had the potential to reset the country and correct the mistakes of the previous government.

However, he is now disappointed by some of Mahama's actions, particularly regarding the dismissal of officials perceived to be politically biased.

According to Owusu, when a new government takes over and removes certain individuals based on alleged political affiliations, it does not reflect well on the country.

He explained that he initially believed that Mahama, due to his limited term in office, would resist such pressures and foster a more inclusive governance approach.
