President John Mahama has directed the National Security and relevant authorities to conduct a full-scale investigation into two aircraft that landed in Ghana earlier in March and departed for Gran Canaria, Spain, on March 25.

The President's directive follows concerns raised by the Minority in Parliament, who suspect the flights-an air ambulance and a private jet-may have been involved in drug trafficking or money laundering.
