Vice President of Ghana, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has spoken publicly for the first time since receiving urgent medical care at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).
The Vice President, who was reportedly taken ill after work on Friday, March 28, and admitted to UGMC on Saturday, March 29, has now issued a message to the nation, addressing Ghana's Muslim community on the occasion of Eid Mubarak.
In her statement, Prof.
Opoku-Agyemang extended warm wishes to Muslims across the country, recognizing their contributions to Ghana's development. "On this blessed occasion, I extend my warmest wishes to you and your families.
