Outspoken politician and former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has stressed the critical need for unity within the (NPP) if it hopes to secure victory in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking at a TESCON General Meeting and Freshers' Orientation at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) on Sunday, Agyapong asserted that a divided party would face continuous defeat, regardless of its flagbearer. "If the NPP wants to return to power, without unity, we will lose-even if you bring Jesus to lead," he declared.

The businessman and politician urged party leaders to prioritize unity and foster a spirit of forgiveness.

He emphasized the importance of reconciliation among members, stating, "The only people who become better in society are those who forgive their friends and brothers who offend them." further underscored the necessity of forming a strong, unified front to effectively compete in the upcoming elections.
